I refer to the advertisement posted by your company in the South China Morning Post (2 March 2003) regarding the captioned position and I would like to apply for it.

A Form Five graduate from St.John's College, I have also attended several computer courses at Hong Kong Computer School in 2000 and 2002. For two months during my Form Three summer vacation I worked as a clerk at Johnny Shipping Company, where i was able to obtain hands-on experience in filing, handling document and data input.

Apart from the summer job experience, I was the chairman of our school's Chinese Club, from where I acquired my leadership skills. As communication is regarded as the most integral part in any profession, I also participated in a number of communication skills workshops organized by the Career Unit of our school. With the above stated job experience and training, I am confident that I can bring to the position the best I can offer.
